Professional fisherman, but currently working as an engineer for Palmer Manufacturing and Tank in Bismarck, ND. Prior Work experience:I worked for MDU Utilities Co. in a cooperative engineering internship through the University of North Dakota. The Co-op lasted from the summer of 2017 through the fall of 2017. I gained experience in a variety of areas involved with the design and maintenance of natural gas distribution lines. Most of my time was spent in the cathodic protection department identifying and resolving shorts within the system, as well as performing rectifier maintenance. I was involved in the sizing of regulators, relief valves, piping, and rotary gas meters during the design of new installs. I worked alongside our contractors to install and map new distribution lines. I also gained experience in constructing cost estimates for consumers while working with vendors to get pricing on large purchase orders. I completed two additional internships with WBI Energy in 2018 and 2019 building on the skills and knowledge learned during my time at MDU.
