Under North Carolina's Third Year Practice Rule, I represented juvenile clients in criminal proceedings. I organized a brief bank with case law summaries and updated the Juvenile Justice Clinic manual. I also assisted in emancipation proceedings and helped draft appellate briefs.

I prepared database for yearly audit of raw material. On my own initiative I created a Visual Basic program that automated shipping using the company’s database. I was responsible for the hiring and on-boarding of over 200 employees for the opening of a new store. I worked closely with the other managers of the store to to create a system to review and interview over a thousand candidates in three days. My duties included creating the weekly payroll and schedule for store employees and maintaining all employee files for internal auditing purposes.

I assisted the Personnel Manager by helping maintain files and assisting in employee scheduling. I assumed various roles throughout the store during scheduling gaps. In March 2002, I was awarded Star of the Month.
