 Developed several algorithms to ease H&I and ERS report handling. Trained staff on how to use the algorithms. Reduced time for task completion from more than 1 week to several hours. Developed algorithms for fund database management in Microsoft Access. Worked on the office’s website and trained staff on several aspects of website building. Assisted in cost-efficient purchasing of office products via UCLA’s purchasing platform. Helped fund managers with basic administrative support and trained new staff.

 Self-taught PHP in 2 months. Wrote post endorsement and rating system for Dr. Laurence Lavelle’s Chemistry Community. Performed A/B testing for these systems (https://lavelle.chem.ucla.edu/forum/). Implemented UCLA shibboleth login system to the website. Updated existing forum functions to support the latest version of phpBB.

 Published “MEMS and NEMS- The World Of Sensors” chapter in the “Nano in New Technology E-book”. Self-taught Matlab (including Neural Networks) in 1 month and analyzed different sets of data. Helped with presenting new research findings biweekly.

 Worked in Dr. Anahid Jewett's Lab. Helped graduate students and professors who worked in the lab with their experiments. Prepared lab supplies, sorted delivered lab materials. Assisted and learned: ELISA, pipetting, autoclaving, preparing flow cytometry sheath fluid.

 Designed pages for the website. Performed SEO for the website. Helped build the computers of the office, based on suggested specifications.
