Corporate business development - Timis Area (Timis, Bihor, Arad, Caras-Severin and Hunedoara counties).

In charge with corporate business development for three Corporate Regions (i.e. 6 Commercial Centers / 13 counties);Identifying potential customers, negotiation and structuring financing proposals in line with risk profiles accepted by the Bank;Providing comprehensive advice on business, financial and structural issues; Identifying project / transaction risks and dully mitigate them through specific covenants;Comprehensive reporting to Credit Committee Members from the risk perspective for all the transactions in charge;Overall portfolio management of app. 30% of Corporate Network Outstanding.

Monitor intensively and manage pro-actively the Sensitive Portfolio clients;Elaborate the Remedial Strategies and presenting them to the Credit Committees;Negotiating with clients in order to implement long term strategies (debt restructuring, equity infusion, business turnaround, standstill agreements);Advise on strategy, projections and review recommendations based on thorough research and analysis of different sectors, industries and companies;Total credit portfolio managed: app. MEUR 200, performance monitoring.

Responsible for the development of the commercial policy, according to assets & profitability budget;Coordinate activity of corporate companies and SME related to 50% of bank’s network, being responsible of all issues related to bank customers companies with focus on achieving network targets on loans, deposits and other bank products; Directly manage bank Business Center sales force comprised of 5 relationship managers, 2 relationship officers (located in the Bank Head Office) and 6 branch managers (located in Bucharest);Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for each profit centre; Provide quarterly different reports to senior management;Recruit, test and hire personal;Train the Relationship Managers in order to be able to identify, classify, evaluate and mitigate the company’s risks from the credit policy perspective;Managing a credit portfolio of MEUR 58 and a deposit portfolio of MEUR 40.

Implementing, maintaining and developing close and mutual benefit relationship with a corporate customer portfolio, which posted more than 40% of the total corporate portfolio outstanding;Identifying, qualifying and follow up potential corporate customers according to the bank’s commercial policy, credit risk assessment, communicating directly with other departments for developing the best solution for client and bank;Managing a credit portfolio in amount of app. MEUR 170;Train and supervise two relationship managers and three Relationship Officers.Main Achievements: Restructuring and implementation of a MEUR 100 syndicated facility resulting in an extra fee of MEUR 1.2 / Lender;Attracting and negotiating deposits (average monthly balance of deposits MEUR 20).

Selling the bank’s products and services and direct involvement in handling the customers’ contracts, agreements and claims;Drawing up and submitting credit applications to the local and central Credit Committee, based on studies of lending propositions on a case-by-case basis, administrating and supervising a loan portfolio, which posted in December 2007 more than MEUR 70;Training and supervising one Junior Relationship Officer.

Preparing the credit packages (Moody’s financials, credit analysis, non-financial analysis, term sheets, risk assessment) for companies belonging to different industries and issuing a recommendation with respect to the client’s creditworthiness.

New customers research, acquisition and relationship’s development focusing on credit exposure increase, profitability and cross–selling;Financial, non-financial and risk analysis;Member of the Branch Credit Committee, replacing the Branch Manager for 6 months with all the related responsibilities, etc.

Participating in a job rotation program for a deeper understanding of the banking system procedures and rules.
