The Anti-Corruption Council of Ukraine is a member of the UN Global Compact and the UNCAC Coalition.Iakymiuk now also works on his PhD research in the field of anti-corruption as a postgraduate student at the National Academy of Public Administration, Office of the President of Ukraine. His research project concerns the Ukraine’s Anti-Corruption Policies Development and Implementation Mechanisms: Communicative Aspect. Strategic goal of this research project is to define new and most optimal for Ukraine communicate mechanisms aimed at increasing transparency and improving accountability within the government agencies. On the other hand, the research project is focused on providing practical assistance in the barriers elimination for civil society to undertake its fully-integrated role in preventing and combating corruption.

The Project is implemented by an international consortium led by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ) GmbH.As an expert, Iakymiuk also participated in implementation of a number of projects of several international organizations in Ukraine, including the Transparency International DSP global index to measure levels of integrity and corruption in national defense and security establishments Project, informational support for the World Bank’s Land Reform Program and a TACIS Project on development of Ukraine’s competition environment.

Iakymiuk has 10 years of experience in the Ukrainian Government Public Service he served at until 2010. He was nominated among the top 10 public servants in Ukraine by independent Commission in charge for the competition conduct in 2010.Cooperating with Global Reporting, Media Development Fund and Academy of Ukrainian Press, Iakymiuk was responsible for training and instructing the public affairs employees of a number of regional state bodies.

Iakymiuk has also served as an official delegate on various international exchange programs from Ukraine to the U.K., the U.S., France, Switzerland, Finland, Russia and Poland.

Iakymiuk was responsible for reviewing applications and providing customer services.

Iakymiuk served as a chief of the translations group, as well as a secretary for international working and official visits.
