Growing up in communist Romania, I didn’t acquire my first camera until 1989. After the revolution, the rise of a free press opened thrilling new doors, and I quickly found my way into radio and television, progressing from voice-overs to reporting, editing, and eventually producing. I had the privilege of working on major television shows with high viewership, including globally recognized productions like I’ll Do Anything for You, Big Brother, and Big Class Reunion.Following many rewarding years in Romanian television, I expanded internationally in 2006, taking on video and photography projects in The Emirates, New Zealand, California, and Russia. I eventually settled in Houston, Texas, where I dedicated myself to freelance photography and film full-time. In 2018, I participated in the FotoFest Portfolio Review, where I was honored to have one of my photographic series selected for the 2018 FotoFest in Buenos Aires. This event marked the start of a second career as a visual artist, and since then, I’ve become an active figure in Houston’s art scene, exhibiting my work both locally and internationally in Romania, Argentina, Switzerland, Hungary, Mexico, and the USA.In 2016, I published my first photography book, Road Trip: Romania, capturing the contrast between urban Bucharest and Romania's timeless countryside. With a lifelong passion for storytelling, a global perspective, and a deep commitment to creative expression, I bring a unique dedication to crafting powerful visual narratives.
