I have attained my PhD in Public International Law at SciencesPo Paris with a dissertation focusing on the questions of statehood, humanitarian law and human rights.My dissertation deals with the effective application of humanitarian law and human rights law in what I term as instances of 'covert occupation'. I define 'covert occupation' as the overall control of a third-party state over a secessionist entity which acts as its de facto puppet.
