I looked after international PR for Europe's largest online contact lens retailer. As part of my role, I managed in-house staff, remote freelancers and in-market agencies to coordinate activity across the UK, US, Ireland France, Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Belgium. My role was to increase online visibility for the brand in search results and contribute to new customer acquisition and revenue growth in all markets.

I joined Greenlight Digital to help develop the Digital PR team and services, focusing on strategy and delivery. With a strong media relations background, a proven track record and a tier one contact list, results quickly started coming through, both for clients and in terms of team development. I was in charge of the Digital PR strategy for different clients, including specialist insurer Hiscox, specialist law firm Bolt Burdon Kemp, and blue chip companies such as Carphone Warehouse and others.

After moving to the London offices of the same group I started looking after different clients, such as Kodak, Dulux, Holiday Extras, Beluga Vodka and BIC Pens. I helped these brands generate Tier 1 coverage, develop their social media presence and increase engagement, change brand perception and even avoid communication crises. I helped launch and manage important events for brands such as Dulux Trade and Beluga Vodka and helped launch an influencer engagement program. In parallel, I also offered SEO training to the agency.

I joined OZ Racing, world leader in aftermarket alloy wheels as a freelance PR consultant to help the company establish itself in the UK market, after a 10-year absence. My goals were set to raise awareness of the brand and visibility among key customers and distributors. In my time with OZ, I looked after the company’s press office and thanks to a variety of activities launched during that period, I managed to generate coverage and awareness in crucial national and trade publications, help seal partnerships which incremented sales, grow the company's social media presence, giving it a bigger share of voice, and organise trade events with key clients and distributors, which helped consolidate the brand.

I worked with Epiphany Search on a one-day-a-week contractor basis. I looked after a large international hotel comparison website, HRS Hotels, helping them gain visibility in the Italian market. A year later, the client was on a 270% ROI increase and the agency had considerably cut costs to service that client. The results had been almost immediate and consistent, to the extent that I was offered an important permanent role with the company.

Working with ICS Digital Marked my debut in Digital Marketing and SEO. My first project was to help build visibility for a selection of gambling clients (like bet365, William Hill, PokerStars and 32 Red Casino) in the Romanian market). I consistently generated good results, which allowed me to quickly grow professionally and expand to covering Off-Page SEO in different markets like the USA, Canada, South Africa, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland for blue chip clients such as American Express and Honda.

I joined the Gais Hotels Group to support the launch and management of a new Executive Area within the Caparena Hotel in Taormina (Italy). The exclusive area was aimed at business and VIP clients, including high-profile entrepreneurs, politicians and showbiz stars. As Head of the area I was looking after Customer Relations, Marketing, Staff Management and Quality Control. The concept had such a huge success, I was invited to manage it the following year.

As an Italian language tutor, I would deliver weekly classes to groups of post-graduate students studying to be Italian language teachers. I would offer a detailed view into their lectures with the Italian Language professor and we would go through them with examples and detailed explanations. My responsibilities included planning the course content, organising lectures, explain to students some of the more difficult concepts taught and make sure they were as prepared as possible for their exams.

I joined Aicon Yachts Europe (my first "real" job) in the summer holidays between my 1st and second year at University. The ability to speak multiple languages and ability to handle myself professionally in front of a variety of stakeholders meant that I was assigned to support, two departments: Sales and Marketing. In the former, I would have a HNWI facing role, looking after customers coming from all over the world. In the former, I had a Marketing and PR role, supporting with product launches, marketing collateral, PR coverage, product reviews (i.e. boat sea tests).During my time at Aicon Yachts Europe, I helped plan and organise three international boat shows: Cannes, Southampton and Genoa - which I all attended. I also helped launch three new models (the Aicon 62' e 75' Open e the Aicon 85' Flybridge) and helped my colleagues from Sales seal multi-million Euro contracts.
