Leading a working group for innovation in the payments area. RoPay project will foster the adoption of Instant payments, offering to the end user an intuitive and easy way for payments initiation. QR code standard provided to the ecosystem will standardize the format and data, deep link for e-commerce will trigger the merchants to adopt it. A plethora of use cases will be addressed. In the end, we all are end users so we are delighted to see all these components integrated by the ecosystem and make the "digitalization and UX" a fact.

- Deputy Project manager for a pan-European payments project (CENT): Setting up a new European Payments Company (ECC-European Clearing Cooperative) to provide payments services to the ACHs that are part of EACHA, central interoperability solution for maximizing the addressability of the payments products.- Project manager for a new payments system in Romania which will allow end users to make instant payments, typically using the phone or online banking, enabling the payments to get to the destination in less than 2 seconds, 24/7/365, account-to-account. We have delivered market analysis, based on a collaboration with Gfk, Product Concept, Market Requirements (MRD), Product Requirements (PRD), Positioning statement, Product Road map, Pricing model and Business Case, to facilitate the decision making process for starting the project or not; we have considered Blackblot methodology for products to be developed as a framework to guide us in this process.- elaborate Transfond's strategic intent;- conduct strategic plannig with key staff members on Transfond's direction;- proposing a new business development strategy;- providing guidance to Transfond's departments (e.g. HR for performance management system, induction process);- working with key staff to prepare Transfond's reports to Board and General Assembly of Shareholders;

Developing an e-invoicing solution to be offered to invoice Issuers. The most important differentiation aspect of our developed solution is the integration capability with banks, pursuing delivery through the internet banking systems, and e-archiving system. It was the first in house developed system for TRANSFOND.Coordinating e-invoicing business case - a new product to be developed and to be offered by TRANSFOND for romanian banking comunity:Activities performed in the project with the key staff:Market analisys, Product Description (Market and Product Requirements), Business Case, Project Brief in the Starting up the project, sustaining presentations to the prospects.As a project manager, my responsabilities were to:- determine budget allocatios- design the project management team, appointing the project management team- monitor and ensure project budget and scope, monitoring the tolerances- manage the stage boundaries- handle the risks, issues and daily log- provide End of stage and Highlight reports to the Project Board- revise deliverables of the project- deliver the outcome to accomplish the business case requirements- fulfill the end user quality expectations that were defined at the beggining of the project

Business team leader in automation of debit instruments processing project developed by TRANSFOND. Leading a business analysis team to deliver Product Requirements Document (PRD) but also the legal framework to be modified by the Parliament, to empower truncation.Envisaged consequences of the new system in the Romanian banking community and business environment were:- the complete removal of paper instruments at interbank level- the generation of electronic messages for clearing- the use of digital images instead of paper instruments- automated clearing and settlement- digital images (copies of paper-based payment instruments) sent for collection instead of the original instrument- cutting down submission and processing times- mitigation of loss, damage and theft risks during transmission- human error risk mitigation when recording and processing debit instruments.

Operations Department:- monitoring ACH application, being responsible to react in contingency situations- reporting to NBR for statistical purposes, such as Blue Book, ECB- documenting business continuity procedures- trainer for the ACH banks' users

Electronic Payments System - Phare Project, Romanian Automated Clearing House. The beneficiary of the new system was the banking community; it replaced the old and costly processes, putting toghether all energies of experts from National Bank of Romania, Transfond, SIA-SSB, Montran and foreign experts to creat best of breed system for national electronically payments processing. My role as part of the functional team of the project was to elaborate requirements and to help in design the new flows of payments.
