I was leading an in-house marketing team spearheading Splend's international expansion - a Series B startup founded in Australia providing vehicle subscriptions for Uber drivers, among others. Team was based in Splend's Cluj office and we worked closely with the Sales and Operations teams in Cluj, the UK and Australia. Reporting into the Head of Growth Marketing, I'm responsible for global performance marketing strategy and lead acquisition campaigns through SEO, content marketing, PPC & display, communications. I was directly involved and executed on SEO auditing and improvements for all Splend websites.Also responsible with managing team performance, annual reviews & recruiting.

Led and scaled the marketing team from 5 to 20 people while managing the day-to-day operations, defining the strategy and overseeing the execution of online marketing efforts for rentcafe.com, a US apartment search website. We were working and optimizing for most online channels: SEO, SEM & pay-per-click ads, content marketing, link building, email marketing, data & user analytics. Grew organic traffic by 35X at rentcafe.com during 2015-2018.I was also responsible with managing team performance, annual reviews & recruiting.

In this role I am managing a team of SEO and PPC specialists from two Yardi divisions. The team's goal is to drive improvements that optimize performance of organic and paid traffic. I was also responsible with the monthly and quarterly reporting on the clients' press mentions, Romanian to English and English to Romanian translations of advertising texts, press releases and reputation management reports.
