In my role as a Medior Consultant/Analyst at Studio Gear Up, I provide strategic consulting and analysis to support corporate sustainability efforts across the energy and transport sectors. I conduct comprehensive policy and feasibility assessments for projects related to renewable energy and electromobility, including evaluating bioenergy initiatives under the Renewable Energy Directive (RED) and supporting compliance with ETS 2 regulations. My responsibilities extend to advising clients on the integration of sustainable practices and analysing the use of renewable fuels. I also contribute to proposal development for European funding opportunities and perform in-depth quantitative analyses to provide data-driven insights that guide regulatory compliance and sustainable transitions. This role also includes elements of extensive quantitative and scenario analysis, policy analysis, impact assessments, feasibility studies, and project management.

Co-coordinating various Horizon 2020 and LIFE R&D&I projects in relation to energy efficiency, circularity, and sustainability in the built environment. My key responsibilities included project management and research coordination, where I oversaw the development and execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to scope & budget.I conducted in-depth research, producing studies, reports, and roadmaps on the sustainability, circularity, and digitisation of buildings. Additionally, I supported business development initiatives, particularly in cutting-edge methods like 3D scans and drone flights to enhance building capture techniques.Monitoring project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and KPIs was a critical part of my role. I facilitated stakeholder sessions, designed workshops, and organised events to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. My contribution to new proposals involved technical and administrative aspects, identifying market and research gaps, and outlining work package / task activities. Furthermore, I supported the communication and dissemination of research findings through various media platforms, contributing to the discourse on sustainability in the built environment.

Preparation of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) case study summaries and overviews for the Urban Nature Atlas created during the Horizon 2020 NATURVATION project.

Advising and supervising projects revolving around technical sustainability, energy, and production efficiency within manufacturing and assembly lines for SME clients. In addition, executing qualitative and desk research to support R&D activities of clients. The responsibilities of this role included:- Perform research studies (State of the Art, Feasibility, PEST analysis)- Acting as a junior project manager for several projects of our clients- Advising and coordinating R&D initiatives of SMEs including EU H2020 innovation projects- Liaison with developers, clients, team members, and management- Collect and analyze data related to the projects- Developing a methodology to perform thermal analysis on solar panels with drones (based on my BSc thesis work)- Closely working with the Energy Department and conducting the inspection of several solar farms
