Key Achievements include:· Led and developed a team of seven scientific administrators to ensure the smooth operation of samples receipt and distribution for scientific testing · Carried out detailed administration and management of all samples coming to RSSL ensuring accurate documentation, relevant methodology and allocation of correct tests to enable uninterrupted transition to the testing stage.· Successfully formulated and documented a procedure for storing and handling controlled substances across company’s two sites, ensuring that Home Office regulations were met; also delivered companywide training for all affected staff.· Introduced new ways of working to manage resources across food and pharmaceutical areas to deliver efficiency savings within the department and a ‘right first time’ approach to the testing stage.· Developed and documented sample handling procedure across multiple laboratories for one sample to ensure quality and longevity of sample utilised minimising error rates and failures· Designed new laboratory space and functionality, successfully negotiating additional space to maximise productivity and improve samples’ security and traceability.· Actively participated in internal and external audits

To support my MSc Diploma research, I contributed to the development and optimization of an analytical procedure for acid herbicides quantification in surface waters after enrichment in Chemcatcher passive sampler.
