He has covered lots of significant events such as The 2016 Rio Olympic Games, big explosion in Tianjin of China in 2015, Malaysia Airlines MH370 accident in 2014, The 2014 Inchon Asian Games, China’s NPC and CPPCC meetings, etc. He has won Award of Excellence in Portrait Series of The 74th Pictures of the Year International Competition in 2017, Golden Award of Sports Photography Section of The 2014 China’s Golden Camera Award. His photographic works have been exhibited at China's Photography Exhibition Hall in 2016.

He has worked as head of the news room which had more than 30 photo editors, on charge of editing photos supplied by ten thousands of domestic stringers in China everyday. He also has worked as a photojournalist to cover some significant events such as The 2012 London Olympic Games. He has won Bronze Award of Documentary Section of The 24th Chinese National Exhibition of Photographic Art in 2012. His photographic works have been exhibited at The International Photography Culture Festival in Lishui, China in 2011.

He has worked as a senior editor on charge of editing photos supplied by domestic stringers for Xinhua News Agency everyday, and has developed the number of stringers working for Xinhua News Agency to more than ten thousands. He has covered lots of significants events such as earthquake in Yushu of China in 2010, 2010 World Expo in Shanghai of China. He has won China’s Xu Xiaobing National Photography Exhibition Documentary Award in 2010. His photographic works have been exhibited at Headquarter of UNESCO in 2010, Visa pour I'image in Perpignan of France in 2009, Dali International Photography Exhibition of China in 2009; and have been collected by China’s Xu Xiaobing & Hou Bo Museum permanently.

He has lived and worked in ex-Soviet Union countries such as Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, the five central Asian countries including Kazakhstan and the three Caucasus countries including Georgia. In that period, he covered lots of important events in these countries such as the war between Russia and Georgia in 2008.

He has worked to edit domestic stringers' photos supplied to Xinhua News Agency everyday.
