My main responsibility was dealing with all faults ensuring we plan resources to resolve and feedback within given SLA’s. I Implemented a new back office system and field based tablets to allow planning and allocation of works. I helped build the foundations of the new centralised Helpdesk / Planning (by building systems/process and recruiting staff). Joined change management working group working with senior management to look at process across AGS including how current systems are being used and evaluating new systems to streamline process.

Re-launched product set, trained/refreshed sales team, created inbound marketing campaigns including introduction and running of SEO, PPC and social media strategies.August 2014 to January 2015 – Ategrity Solution’s Ltd – VP Sales & MarketingInitially employed to analyse existing sales processes and rebuild from ground up including buildingtargeted marketing and sales campaigns (SEO, PPC and social media). Rebuilt product offering to better appeal to customer sub-groups I identified. Trailing / execution of plans including cold calling and existing customer account management to prove concept. Built up £120,000 pipeline from standing start to handover to a permanent sales person.January 2014 to July 2014– Real Selling Sales Training Ltd – Sales TrainerOpportunity to try something new. Role comprised of handling inbound calls as well as cold callingto generate and book new business, co-authoring and delivering new face to face courses (bothworkshop and in-house). Started working in the owners dining room as a commission only sales person. During my time with ITOnlinelearning I worked closely with the owner to increase retail sales volumes and started the corporate sales channel. The business grow into offices with 8 people with significant uplift in revenue during my time due corporate business allowing increased marketing resulting in growth.Mainly completing retail telephone sales in the early days my role evolved into more of a senior account manager as I developed existing and new relationships to generate new business corporate sales (as well as growing existing accounts).

Trained in Six Sigma data analysis and project management techniques (to black belt level) I was asked to investigate and propose solutions to lower very high levels of fault not found & right when tested fault codes (working on the ADSL Fault process covering all divisions of BT).Delivered a 1.5% reduction in fault not found and right when tested fault codes by improving front end diagnostics and saving £500k in wasted engineering time.Reason for leaving: Returned to unit after secondment after being asked if I wanted to stay. 4 people bought in to replace me and continue my work.

I was the first BT Graduate recruit to be given a team of people to manage from my 1st day in the job. When I asked why I was told this was because of my extensive people management experience as I have referred to in the next and final work experience section.Started off with responsibility for 12 staff in one location and this was expanded to 35 staff over 3 locations.The role included the challenges of managing very technical and experienced staff whilst being a non-technical freshman to the company. Using my team we facilitated the delivery of key network changes creating new BT telephony productsReason for leaving: To further my project management skills I was given a chance to join a project on temporary secondment.

During my time at college and university I worked throughout to gain experience. I mention it here because although part time in most jobs, based on merit and enthusiasm I worked my way up to supervisor or management level having started from a lower level. Some of the roles mentioned include floor manager at MacDonalds, Checkout manager at Makro, Duty Manager at a hotel and Deputy Customer Services manager at Asda (I was recommended and passed interview for a place on the Asda graduate scheme).
