Negotiating group 27 for the environment and climate change consists of experts from various fields, whose aim is to help the negotiation process of Serbia's entry into the European Union. One of the negotiating chapters is chapter 27, which refers to the environment and climate change. It is one of the most complex, expensive and demanding negotiation chapters, given that it permeates all other chapters. Precisely for this reason, coordination, communication and cooperation of different institutions is necessary, in order to see all the technical, administrative and investment aspects of this chapter.Negotiating Group 27 is in charge of activities related to participation in screening, preparation of proposals for negotiating positions for accession to the European Union, drafting revision and monitoring of the implementation of the National Program for the adoption of the acquis of the European Union, the division of competences for the transposition and application of the requirements of the European Union, as well as preparation of proposals for planning communication activities for the corresponding chapters of the negotiations on accession to the European Union.

The Circular Economy Working Group consists of representatives of the Ministry, Institutions and Civil society organizations. The task of the Working Group is to set a strategic framework for the transformation of society to a new model.
