With a background in mechanical engineering and research experience during my master’s studies, I’ve always been driven to explore problems and answer big questions. Initially, these were academic, but I soon had the opportunity to apply my skills on the ground during an internship at Saudi Aramco. While the experience was informative and I learned a great deal, I realized there was another level of problems and decisions beyond my on-ground work. I wanted to be where people were shaping industries, not just fixing issues.Curiosity then led me to the field of strategy, specifically management consulting—a growing career path where I felt I could engage with the next level of challenges. At Bain & Company and Boston Consulting Group, I worked on national-scale projects across various sectors, from manufacturing and energy to sustainability and culture. These roles allowed me to apply my engineering background in strategic contexts, contributing to initiatives that drove business transformation and industry growth.As I progressed, I realized my strongest contributions lie at the intersection of technical expertise and strategy development. Now, as I pursue an MBA at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, I’m focused on refining my understanding of strategy and product management, aiming to leverage my combined experiences to help businesses innovate, grow, and navigate complex challenges.
