Returns Coordinator: Technology Sales

Beginning just before "rush" 2006, I began as a part time cashier and after training in retail for football games at Connecticut's Rentschler Field (football games) I transferred to the "Husky Shop" or imprinted/branded softline and hardline department. After getting acquainted with stock and computer systems, I transferred full-time to the technology department as sales support and returns service coordinator, where I was from 2014 until 2016. Between 2014 and 2016 I was also a member of the safety committee and later in my career there I helped found an events planning committee. The University of Connecticut Cooperative Corporation was an independent not-for-profit student owned Co-op bookstore that operated from 1975 until the university elected to bid out the bookstore position to a for-profit company in 2016, under the administration of former Georgia Uni. professor Susan Herbst. The UConn Co-op was one of the largest collegiate bookstores in the country and was nationally recognized for its service and products, as well as various events it organized including the then annual Connecticut Children's Bookfair, which Tomie de Paulo regarded as the best run bookfair in the country. The Co-op was also the first collegiate bookstore in the country to carry Northface products, and was one of the largest collegiate stores to sell Apple computers in the region, we had a full time service department that was fully Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba and Apple certified.
