Reporting to the President and CEO, overseeing the Information Technology department's strategic direction and daily operations. Providing guidance on technology solutions that improve essential business functions while working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and the organization's decision-makers to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective tech solutions.+ Offering strategic direction, transformational leadership, and active participation in Canpotex's global IT operations. Providing senior leadership and guidance to IT department members by setting performance expectations and delivering constructive, regular, and pertinent feedback on outcomes.• Ultimately accountable for the organization's cybersecurity, collaborating closely with the cyber security manager to stay updated on information security intelligence and modify the cyber programs to address emerging threats.• Facilitate and manage the strategic partnerships between the internal IT department and external parties, including government agencies, vendors, and partner organizations.• Maintain uninterrupted IT services by managing service level agreements with users and evaluating the performance of IT systems.+ Participate in the business organization's strategic and operational governance activities as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.• Oversee the IT strategy and the department’s operating model to meet business objectives by encouraging innovation, prioritizing IT projects, and managing the evaluation, implementation, and administration of current and upcoming IT systems.• Identify prospects for the appropriate and cost-efficient allocation of financial resources in IT systems and assets, encompassing staffing, outsourcing, procurement, and internal development.• Act as an advocate for the organization's IT vision.• Champion the organization's IT vision.
