My responsibilities include handling a case management caseload of approximately 30 clients with mental health and substance abuse needs in a criminal justice setting in addition to an assessment caseload of approximately 15 clients. I perform assessment interviews and write reports for each of my clients for use by the court, and I help create and fully oversee the treatment plan for each client from referral to discharge and handle any crises in between. I update the court on the status of each client on a monthly basis and perform weekly check-ins with each client that involve supervised toxicology screens and CBT journaling interventions to target criminogenic thinking patterns.

I handled various tasks such as performing diagnostic assessment interviews with prospective mental health clients and counseling current clients using CBT journaling interventions. I also co-author client reports used in court and assisted case managers with day-to-day tasks.

Beth Israel Medical Center, Manhattan

I worked under Dr. Igor Galynker as a research assistant on the Suicide Trigger Scale (STS) study. I recruited patients and administered semi-structured interviews to those who met our recruitment requirements.

Fordham University Rose Hill

I was responsible for alumni outreach and fundraising on behalf of Fordham University. I regularly contacted undergraduate alumni, graduate alumni, law school alumni, and parents of current students.

I had the responsibility of attending multiple IT panels at various locations over the summer in addition to preparing various documents and schedules for the use of the students who will be employed as a part of Fordham's back-to-school IT Team. I also used graphic design software to create signs and newsletters that were distributed around campus as part of the Fordham IT department back-to-school advertising campaign.I was responsible for overseeing the team of approximately 40 IT Team students throughout the back-to-school time period in late August.

I assisted students living in the Fordham residence halls with any technology needs that arose in the halls. I also worked part-time at the university's IT Customer Care Center to assist students, alumni, and faculty over the phone with any technology problems.

I assisted conference members who lived at Fordham's Rose Hill campus over the summer by helping prepare the keys for their rooms, assisting conference attendees who became locked out of their rooms, and helping the attendees handle any housing emergencies that arose during their stays.
