From my personal life experiences, I understand the importance of equal access to quality education for children of every socioeconomic status. As an alumnus of the David Oyedepo Foundation, I have a strong background in volunteering and Community Development. My goal is to help companies and corporate bodies to achieve their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals by connecting them to Nigerian school children who need educational funding opportunities.Although I do not have prior formal training in Education, I have taken the discipline of practising teaching in different contexts and studying related courses and articles to educate myself on the subject. I am currently being considered for a Communications and Advocacy Internship with the Education Outcomes Fund, an arm of UNICEF. I look forward to honing my work experience in graphic design and communications in fintech spaces for advocacy and fundraising for the organisation, in addition to gaining relevant work experience in international contexts. My first-class (4.87 CGPA) BSc. Honours degree has built my research and problem-solving skills, to the point of winning the Solution 17 for Climate Action award for my solution to mitigate the effects of the ongoing climate crisis. I have also been actively teaching secondary and university-level students in English for the past nine years, which has developed my communication, project management, creativity and leadership abilities. In addition, I was a beneficiary of the fully-funded David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship award for the duration of my undergraduate study.I am open to opportunities to work with education organisations, and contribute my skills and knowledge to supporting efforts to improve quality education within the state and aiding the achievement of the SDGs. I would love to work with NGOs devoted to getting school-aged children off the streets, and sensitization on child rights. I am also open to speaking engagements on Education in Nigeria, education inequalities and educational policymaking.I'm a fast, adaptable learner with strong social and interpersonal skills.
