I’m a senior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, pursuing a B.S. in Marketing with a concentration in Strategic Branding and a minor in New Media and Digital Design. I also spent a semester studying at Fordham's London campus. I’m originally from San Antonio, Texas, where I completed my high school degree before coming to New York. At Fordham, as a Marketing Scholars Candidate, I am one of 45 students in a program aimed at providing unique, high-profile opportunities to advance marketing careers through visits to leading advertising agencies and exposure to other industry-leading professionals.The summer of 2024, I worked at BlackRock's New York City office, allowing me to apply my classroom business skills in the real world. I worked as a Summer Analyst on the Product Commercialization team, contributing to strategic content and communication efforts at one of the world's leading asset management firms. I led a comprehensive listening tour, engaging over 35+ internal stakeholders across 18+ diverse marketing and content production teams to assess and analyze content creation practices, identifying key opportunities to improve efficiency firm-wide. I used my findings to design and launch an internal content creator resources hub, featuring relevant templates, best practice guidelines, and training sessions on commonly used and upcoming technology to streamline and improve the content creation process. I presented strategic solutions to senior leadership, delivering actionable recommendations on content creation, leading to the identification and resolution of key operational inefficiencies.The summer of 2023, I worked at VanEck Investment Management’s New York City office. I worked as an Institutional Marketing Intern at VanEck, highlighting value propositions and retaining investors through client reporting at the asset management firm. I utilized exceptional writing skills through composing persuasive and compelling responses in RFPs and DDQs, working to provide clients with accurate and reliable information on company investment products. I also strengthened my corporate communication skills through collaborating with experts within other departments, such as Product Management and Compliance, to deliver exceptional research and data to investors.
