“It was during my trip to Australia... My hair was a crazy mess from the beach and I wanted something to tame it, but I also wanted something that would go nicely with my beach ware. I cut some strips from my bathing suits, stapled them together, and placed it on my head. Immediately, people started to ask me where I got my headband and that is how Bondi Band was born!”After returning home from Australia, the experiment and development process began. I created the perfect design, incorporating elements of both function and fashion, and began hand sewing Bondi Band headbands in my hometown of Lewiston, Maine in February 2005.Although Bondi Band began with only headbands, it has expanded to a full line of headwear, compression products and accessories in comfortable, colorful options to fit every lifestyle and personality for active women, men and children.
