Porticus is a large global philanthropic organisation, working with 180 staff out of 14 locations. My task is build a global communications team and shape communications into an instrument that advocates for system change around the globe. We develop approaches for branding, (social) marketing and advocacy across culturally diverse audiences.

- Responsible for media relations/PR, public affairs, corporate responsibility, internal communication and employer branding- This opportunity involved setting-up a new team, with new roles, new purpose and new tooling- Increased team performance, including identifiable influence on policy, a dominant share of voice in the media, a doubling of the number of applications and a rise of the approval for internal communications- Lead for the restructuring of the Brand and Marketing function by introducing lean and agile principles

- Leading the Public Affairs and Corporate Communication practise of our agency in the Netherlands.- Representative in an international team for future perspectives of Burson-Marsteller- Responsible for all corporate communication and public affairs for the second largest airline in the Netherlands- Communication team lead on induced earthquakes for a major energy company- Crisis communication manager for various high-profile clients

- Responsible for the media and communication strategy on road pricing, and the accelerated construction of road infrastructure- Communication lead for the ministry on two national crises (closing of the airspace due to a volcano eruption on Iceland and a potential highway closures due to winter conditions) - Co-developed an online application to communicate the progress and results of investments in road infrastructure

- Lobbyist at the European Parliament working on the European Postal Directive- Developed the EU regulatory strategy for the company- Communications: local media relations, press releases and internal communication
