Built a backend platform for orchestrating workflows based on Netflix OSS Conductor. Took the company from launch in Oct 2021 with a Seed round of $9.3M to a $20M Series A in Oct 2023. Responsible for the company's operations, fund raising and overall technical stack. As a CTO, I built the BE, UI and UX teams for Cloud Stack and Core Product features. In a record time, we re-shaped OSS Conductor to the enterprise flavor and had it ready for deployment into all major cloud providers, both in managed accounts and client/customer owned accounts. On top of that, created a full deployment option for on-premise as well. The UI/UX team built the brand new UI which continues to be the core selling point for the platform.Expert in optimizing infrastructure for scale, scaling BE products to peak capacity.

Head of the Payments Platform team - responsible for all money movement aspects for Robinhood

- Engineering leader in the content engineering organization responsible for design, architecture and coaching the team members- Recently lead the effort to rebuild asset inspections, tooling and workflow that reduces costs by an estimated $30 million yearly while reducing member impact leading to improved retention- Built the latest quality check platform for in-production and final digital assets that replaced several legacy quality check tools used for the entire streaming catalogue on Netflix- Built a distributed asset management platform for entire content catalogue (1 Billion +) of images, text, video, audio and metadata only assets that are queried by multiple clients at high RPS- Built various tools for identifying, tracking and resolving video, text and audio based issues that gets reported on the Netflix platform by end users- Built an automated subtitling system for movie and series trailers and clips- Built API services that is used for content parsing and ingestion (IMF)- Built a locking library that replaced ZooKeeper for application locks in a distributed environment- Helped design dyno queues and Conductor - both are published in Netflix OSS

- Started as an early engineer/architect on the team and moved to engineering management on the global securities core processing platform team- Led hiring and on-going mentoring of engineers on the team- Followed lean agile scrum practices based on the CSM training- Worked on building out the global platform for JPMorgan securities systems which handles high volumes of trade and settlement transactions with market connectivity across the globe- Built server side and UI applications that covers capturing trades, validations and enrichments, positioning and market settlement- Architecting and building scalable high throughput core application services - Worked with product owners, business users and other stakeholders across global markets to manage expectations and application builds

- Part of the OTC Derivatives core middle tier team that developed APIs and services for clients for trade persistence and processing- Led the trade life cycle team and managed book of work as well as 2nd line support of applications- Integrated OTC trade processing such as Affirmations, Novations, Terminations, Clearing etc. with external platforms such as ICELink and clearing houses such as ICE Trust, ICE Clear, CME and LCH- Implemented regulatory driven changes such as C=C (Consent=Confirm), A=C(Affirmation) (for CDS trades)- Managed the STP of trades from broker feeds- Worked with a global team across New York and London for development of changes- Worked closely with business analysts, architects, traders, middle office users etc. to gather requirements and running ‘change the bank’ book of work- Training of first line support team, running demos to business users, preparation of guide documentation etc.- Working with traders/sales desks directly during major project roll outs
