Beqy.ai is an AI powered Bookkeeping and accounting solution. The aim is to provide companies more control and visibility into the companies finances whilst reducing the administrative effort required.

My role was to lead and establish a digital transformation team with focus on Robotic Process Automation, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence as well as introducing other new technologies, using local and offshore assets. My responsibilities also included:• Set up and establish intelligent automation governance• Developing end to end project plans with the execution team, including digitisation strategy• Identifying of innovation and automation opportunities internally and through disruptive start-ups• Evaluating current processes and envisioning ways to reengineer the process in order to create significant efficiencies and enhance controls, improved UI & UX design; guide the team to make the decisions• Participate in technical discussions with solutions architects, IT & infrastructure teams• Facilitate creation of the tasks using Agile method for the Sprints with dependencies identified• Managing delivery teams, working with QA teams, leading UAT, continuous integration• Resolving issues, defining and scoping improvement opportunities with Continuous improvement teams• Leading internal and external stakeholders’ engagement and management

In my role I had the opportunity to implement green alternatives in the business. I was always coming up with different projects to increase synergies. My responsibilities included:• Managed $65mn spend and supplier relationships, through negotiating • Managing spend through: Contract negotiations, Competitive Bidding, Strategic Buying & using RFP / RFQ / RFI• Mitigating risks, working with finance on forecasts & legal on contracts• Deploying and periodically revisiting sourcing/ contracting strategy• Understanding supplier capabilities, and developing suppliers, updating and managing SLA’s• Identifying new startups and distruptive technologies to onboard (ex. LNG,Electric trucks)• Market analysis of prices, quality, changes in practises, Value Analysis, Supply Chain AnalysisBringing innovative changes in sourcing and change in technology to align with global standards, taking into consideration sustainability and job creation
