I recently got back on radio, presenting a talk show on www.keithngesiradio.com. Every Monday to Wednesday from 7-8pm, I host conversations about social justice - "the fair treatment and equitable status of all individuals and social groups within a state or society" (https://www.britannica.com/topic/social-justice). During the day, I manage the marketing department of Zimele Technologies; and I also manage the stakeholder engagement programmes of clients. Stakeholder engagement entails identifying stakeholders affected by construction projects; determining the needs of these stakeholders; forging a relationship with stakeholders; communicating project information; facilitating dialogue; and reaching mutual objectives among stakeholders. Three or four times a year, I teach the marketing blockweek at Stellenbosch Business School's Small Business Academy. My expertise is in corporate strategy development in the marketing and communications space; managing complex negotiations; crisis management (protest action and lock-outs, and media relations); and developing entrepreneurs. I served five years as the marketing and stakeholder relations director at Power Construction, one of South Africa's largest privately-owned construction companies, where I was responsible for stakeholder relationships, marketing and branding, and served on several of the company's boards, committees and sub-committees. For more than ten years, I also served on the marketing, editorial and Small Business Academy committees at the University of Stellenbosch Business School. My past public and community activities include writing for business, travel and religious publications, presenting a current affairs programme on the TV channel TBN Africa, serving as chaplain to the Western Cape taxi associations, marriage officer, and serving on the executive committee of Unashamedly Ethical (an anti-corruption volunteer movement).I am an experienced speaker, writer, translator, copywriter and editor.
