I love my job. Four years ago, I decided it was time for me to fly - literally. I spent 20+ years in education and accomplished everything I wanted to. When both of my children graduated high school, I found the perfect place for me. I was ready to be a businesswoman - to wear the clothes, to climb the corporate ladder, to meet new people, to travel and to work in exciting places. Most of all, I wanted to continue to make a difference. The month before COVID hit, I stepped out in faith and took a position with what was then Cerner Corporation, now Oracle Health Services. I've worked with the DoD and commercial clients from Westchester, NY, to San Diego, CA, to Ketchikan, AK, where I was "coined" by the US Coast Guard for special achievement and hard work. I've been climbing that corporate ladder at every possible opportunity. I now lead training deployment teams at various VA CPACs (Consolidated Patient Account Centers) around the country. It is an absolute honor to serve our nation's Veterans, including my father, father-in-law, maternal grandfather and paternal grandfather.
