My 2 dogs are both certified to do therapy visits. What we do is we visit local libraries and children come into read to them. This is great for kids that stutter, self conscious, never had a pet, family allergies, and the list goes on. We also visit Easter Seals where adults can enjoy the company of a pet. When time permits we will also visit individuals who have special needs and the area nursing homes. This is a very rewarding time that I get to spend with my pets and others.

Treating all members of the team and residents with respect and dignity. Listening and learning from everyone i came in contact with. It was important to work with all teams to give the residents the best care, keep them them safe, help them when they need help. Give them activities that fit their needs and encourage them. Protect them from any kind of abuse. Changing the calendars monthly with special events. Favorite activities for this location was Bingo, pet therapy, Fashion shows with the Bright & Beautiful Therapy Dogs, trips, petting zoo, arts and crafts, and the various religious services that were offered. It was a lot of fun working there. Many of the staff helped me earn my ADC.

I worked through out the school district servicing the needs of staff, teachers, and students. It was a very rewarding position to see the students learning with State of the Art Technology.
