After teaching French at the graduate and undergraduate levels at the University of California at Berkeley, I decided to enter community education to reach a broader base of underserved populations. My experience includes managerial responsibilities and responsibility for assessment and regulatory compliance, tutor training and program/curriculum design in ESL/ABE, technology integration, Employability, Workplace, and Family Literacy. I began teaching at Post Universty as ESL Associate Faculty; my skills sets of language awareness and emphasis on communicative skills suit very well the writing senior coach position, where I worked with on campus and Online Education Institute, graduate and undergraduate students, and day division. All courses and writing assistance e-supported. Goals: to take broader responsibility for overall curriculum development and course design when assessing general education outcomes, strengthening writing skills especially graduate writing, enabling students to become stronger in critical thinking through broader educational experiences and access to the big picture of analytical and innovative skills employers demand.Specialties: Writing effectiveness, using technologies to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Communicative French language. Expertise in literature, art history, philosophy, critical theory, and interdisciplinary combinations of these areas.
