As an Associate Teacher at Chiaravalle Montessori School, I am responsible for guiding the educational, social and emotional growth of the students with whom I am entrusted. I work closely with the Head Teacher to plan and implement Montessori curriculum. Peace education along with connection to the global and local environment are at the root of everything we do in the classroom. It is a gift to be welcomed back to the school where my career in education began, to a profession I love, in the community that has been my family's home for the past 16 years.

As Program Manager at InterfaithFamily/Chicago, I schedule and manage programming for interfaith families raising children in a Jewish home. Resources include support with premarital counseling, marriage, navigating/celebrating different faith backgrounds, providing resources to explore and practice Jewish customs throughout the year and linking community members with resources to support all aspects of Jewish life.

This work complements my position as a doula, or childbirth assistant which evolved from my earlier years as a massage therapist when many of my clients were going through childbirth. I assisted a number of labors as a massage therapist. I heard about doulas when I was pregnant with my second child and wanted to learn more. I loved it so much I decided to become a doula. It is an honor to nurture growth, healing and wonder in my work as a massage therapist and doula. I look forward to accompanying you in your journey toward health and well-being.

I provide loving, informed care to families during the prenatal, labor and postpartum periods. Our prenatal meetings help educate new and veteran parents about the process of labor, comfort measures used and opportunities for parents to partner together for a closer, supportive birthing experience for each partner. I have assisted over 63 births which have ranged from low intervention to high intervention and everything in between. I am so honored to be a part of this incredible part of families' lives.

Our classroom was an inquiry-based, multisensorial environment where students discovered their natural desire to explore the world around them. Peace education was the thread that bound us together in our close-knit community.
