I am an award-winning journalist and filmmaker with 17 years experience telling stories from across our world. In Mexico, I embedded with a team of paramedics to chronicle the devastating impacts of COVID firsthand (VICE World News/SBS). In the Philippines, I captured the Marcos family's astonishing return to power (Foreign Correspondent/ABC, 2 million views). I've travelled the Australian outback to shine a light on the destruction of globally significant Aboriginal cultural heritage sites (VICE World News/SBS) and along the country's east coast, investigating the mounting human and economic cost of climate change-induced flood disasters (Four Corners/ABC, 660k views). As a fellow at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard, I studied vertical filmmaking and Indonesian politics and history, building on my years of reporting from Jakarta. This paved the way for my most recent project, Indonesia Decides, a digital-first factual series for ABC on the 2024 presidential election that reached 2.6 million people.
