Design of business processes and supporting specification database functions for global packaging development process using SAP Specification Database and Document management System (DMS). Responsibilities include:• Collection of business requirements• Execution of Fit-Gap Analysis• Document Current State (As-Is) business process and design of the Future State (To-Be) Business Process• Design and documentation of global packaging management business processes.• Design of specification database to support business process.• Integration to SAP DMS as well as other external systems.• Design of specification workflow to support business process.• Documentation and verification of all design elements with responsible business parties.

Role includes business process and technical design and development of Specification Database, Windows WordIntegration (WWI), Document Management (SAP DMS and EasyDMS), cFolders, cProjects and associatedworkflows with related PLM functional areas (EH&S, Recipe Management, Expert Rules, Material Management), aswell as design and oversight of data migration strategies and procedures.

Design and implementation of a global packaging and liquids management process and supporting system components using core Product Lifecycle Management (ECC6.0 EP4) functionality including Recipe Management, Specification Database, Document Management System, and cFolders interfaced to a custom developed NetWeaver Portal front end to replace several global legacy systems and processes. Responsibilities and activities include:• Technical design oversight, configuration and implementation of specification data base.• Design and configuration of Document Management System• Design, implementation, and oversight of data migration strategy including collection, cleansing,transformation and load process• Data load planning and execution• Support for overall process design

Design and implementation of a standardized packaging management system using core functionality including the Specification Database and Document Management System to replace a home grown legacy system. Design and coordination of development for workflow to automate several business processes. Responsibilities and activities included:• Design of several workflows to automate business processes using the Specification Database, DocumentManagement System and other custom objects.• Design and configuration of the Document Management System.• Preparation and delivery of several user validation sessions.• Unit Testing of standard SAP transactions and development objects as related to the design.

Design and implementation of a customized NetWeaver Portal front end to an existing Specification Database with ties into Bill of Material Maintenance, Material Maintenance, Purchasing as well as the Document Management System, replacement of a FileMaker Pro legacy system and automation of several business processes (workflow). Responsibilities and activities included:• Design and configuration of the Document Management System.• Implementation and testing of EasyDMS (standard SAP delivered Windows based DMS interface).• Supporting the design of the Portal front end for the Specification Database and general interface to otherSAP modules.• Design of several workflows to automate business processes using the Document Management System andother custom objects interfaced with the Portal Front End.• Design and configuration of cProjects to facilitate integration to RPM.• Design and configuration of cFolders to facilitate Vendor Collaboration from SAP Report Distribution.• Preparation and delivery of several user validation sessions.• Unit Testing of standard SAP transactions and development objects as related to the design.• Redesign of existing specifications.

Implementation of packaging specification solution to replace legacy packaging systems. Responsibilities included the business process design, technical design and implementation of the packaging solution on SAP Specification Database. The design included the integration of the new packaging solutions with previously implemented PLM components. The solution was implemented on SAP 4.6C system and EHS 2.7B (Specification Database). Responsibilities included:• Process design for packaging specification solution.• Designing and configuring the Specification database, consisting of over 40 specification types.• WWI - Design and creation of multiple report templates, cover letters and acknowledgement forms.• Although the implementation was country specific the design was done for a global implementation.• Process and technology to distribute specifications to suppliers for approval in e-mail, fax and letters.• SAP Document Management System (Procedures, Artwork, CAD Drawings, Pallet Pattern Images,PrintCards)• WWI Training - Training to provide proficiency in WWI Editor.• Generation of Functional Specifications for enhancement to standard functionality.• Unit testing of standard SAP transactions and Development objects related to the design.• Management of execution of the unit tests across the team.

Design and implementation of a business solution for Direct Material Specifications and Packaging Specifications. The new design replaces two legacy systems. Design was the footprint for Recipe Management project to follow. Designed new specification request process, from request to execution and the making obsolete of replaced specifications. The functionality was implemented in SAP Enterprise (4.7) system with PLM Extension 3.1. Involvement was focused on:• WWI - design and creation of multiple report templates, cover letters, and acknowledgement forms.• Specification database - design and configuration of over 50 specification types• General Notifications to manage the packaging project related activities• Training documentation compilation and editing.• Training - Coordination and planning of Training for end users touching on areas of the DocumentManagement System, Notifications, Specification Database and WWI template Editor.• Presentation of Training for select training modules• Unit Tests for standard functionality and enhancements to standard functionality• Assistance with Integration tests and documentation thereof
