I am a Mechanical Design Engineer, specialising in the Automotive and Industrial Design (R&D) arena. For the last 11 years, I have been developing New Product Designs form of 2D drawings and 3D modules using AutoCAD, Solidworks, NX Unigraphics, Pro-E, and some basics in Catia V5 softwares.I’m currently employed as Senior Design Engineer at SRM Technologies Pvt Ltd, a unit of Embedded 360 Inc (USA). I’ve hands on in all stages of the Design development cycle, from planning and design to testing and deployment. No two days are the same for me; my tasks may involve analysing Product meterial, feasibility study, BOM costing, Design Reviews, plotting DFMEA/FMECA, RFI/RFQ, ISO13485 documentations, brainstorming ideas or integrating new systems.Something that I love about Mechanical design and development is the opportunity to work with people from a wide range of disciplines. The Product development lifecycle involves working with so many different people and departments and, as a people person and someone who loves to build new relationships, it’s great to be able to come together with other professionals who are striving towards the same goal.Some of the Products (Mechanical parts) I have developed during the last 12 months include:- Keyfobs – A complex challenging Designs, which has multiple variants over 52 modules of car key less Entry Remote.- IR Thermometer & Sanitiser Dispenser that has used in medical emergencies circumstances.- Fuel Pump Flow Control Modules - which used as After market replace product over 10 variant Trucks in the United States.Specialties: AutoCAD, Solidworks, NX Unigraphics.Skills: Hand full Knowledge in GD&T, Tolerance Stackup Analysis, Geometric Dimensions, Pneumatic Design, IATF 16949 standards.
