BDO is a Chartered Accounting firm specialising in Audit & Assurance, Tax, Advisory and other accounting services. I was part of the internal finance team involved in the following tasks:• Prepare monthly/annual internal financial accounts, including workpapers and reconciliations for BDO – accurate and available to Financial Controller/Partners in a timely manner.• Financial operations tasks including reporting and invoicing.• Monthly/interim account workpapers for Foodstuffs clients including detailed analysis.• On a daily/weekly basis accurately reconciles bank payments in Xero. • Prepare weekly cashflow report with commentary.• Prepare IRD returns including GST returns, Income Tax returns and RWT returns as required.• Complete Partners fees billed report accurately and in a timely manner, incl. actual v budget.• Administers fortnightly BDO payroll (approx. 110 staff). Ensures completion within established deadlines, and staff members receive accurate payment.• ConnectWorks - Process implementation and all filing of annual returns for BDO clients. • Companies Office registrar tasks, i.e. incorporations, director appointments, shareholdings, etc.• Develop effective working relationships with Finance manager, Directors/Partners and colleagues in all departments.

FCM Travel Solutions is the flagship global corporate travel business of the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG). The business was established in Australia in 2004 following the strategic consolidation of seven corporate brands into a single corporate travel management specialist that provides end-to-end solutions. FCM has been the leading Travel Management Company in New Zealand since 2006 and manages some of New Zealand's largest travelling organisations and government departments. I began at Flight Centre Travel Group in Auckland in 2014 as Accounts Payable Officer. 15 months later I was promoted to Assistant Accountant for the FCM brand of which I undertook numerous responsibilities as listed in my below Experience.
