Role:- Maintain cultures of numerous marine and freshwater vertebrates and invertebrates.- Specialize in growth and reproductive success of marine and freshwater invertebrates.- Develop new methods for culturing invertebrates to be used for toxicological testing.

Wicomico Creekwatchers is a volunteer (local citizens and SU students) based program that collects and develops objective, scientifically credible water quality data that monitors the waters of the Wicomico River and its tributaries and ponds on Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore. Samples are collected by local volunteers and are brought to SU for analysis.Role:-Collected samples from 2 of the 21 sites-Coordinate and oversee student volunteers during sample analysis.-Instrument calibration and setup. -Assisted in compiling and organizing data to be used in yearly water quality reports.
