I grew up on the Isle of Man, smack bang between England and Ireland and enjoyed lots of fun times with my Three Legged friends!After running away from home at 18, I had a very good time studying and partying at Manchester Metropolitan University.Needing a long break after the "rigour" of passing my Honours degree in Hospitality, I found myself as a "Pommy Backpacker" in Australia in 1995.Not sure if I ever sought out to be an uber banker, (my primary career goal was to sail around the world) but as it turns out Banking found me in in 1996 where I began my journey in Financial Markets at the Royal Bank of Scotland.In 2008 I began my Mortgage Broking journey and have enjoyed the fact that everything I do is based around the client. Having experienced managing and working in a Broking team and mentored many brokers, I have chosen to focus my career in taking mortgage broking people and business' from good to great!In May 2021 I was appointed as CEO of Lydian Financial Services www.lydian.com.au.Lydian is a growing Mortgage Brokerage Company providing best practice lending technology, back office process and operations and referral partnerships for Mortgage Brokers.This is an exciting new chapter for me professionally.I am a father of three great kids, and a beautiful and patient wife Kellie, and a fantastic group of friends from here and abroad. I support the Roosters in the NRL and much to the frustration of others (I am an Aussie Citizen) love to see the English Cricket and Rugby team torment the Aussies.
