Personal Experience-- Newspaper Columnist: I write the Digital Grind Column for the Cape Cod Times Business and Tech Section, where I cover the subjects of the Internet, computer and network tech, computer related products, and social issues impacting the citizens of the Internet.-- Games Journalist: I cover video games, gaming, and game news for a wide number of online and print publications, where I provide my personal insight on games spanning practically every genre. .-- Game Reviewer: I review video games for a number of outlets and publications, bringing a much more personal and useful slant to the subject, as I focus upon providing answers to the three most important questions that a games reviewer can ask and answer: (1) Is this game any good? (2) Is this game worth the price of admission? and (3) Is there anything that I need to know about this game before I buy it?So many reviews and reviewers get trapped in the maze of breaking down numbers and tearing apart video games as the focus of the review process that they forget that their reader just wants the answers to those questions and perhaps to be entertained while they are informed.-- Video Game Walkthrough and Guide Writer: working primarily for SuperCheats.com I write game guides and walk-through strategy guides for AAA game titles on assignment. In the past I have written guides for GameFaqs until October of 2009, when I accepted an exclusive contract with SuperCheats as a staff writer in their guides and game walk-through section.-- Freelance Writer: I routinely submit queries for articles on a variety of subjects for the traditional print environment of magazines and newspapers as well as online publications that are part of the world of New Media. My aims in that respect is to continuously stretch my figurative legs and keep my writing hand busy, so that I can learn as well as earn in the process.
