I am working on investigating fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) schemes and their implementation on GPUs. One of the projects is currently open-source: https://github.com/nucypher/nufhe (Python + CUDA/OpenCL). It achieves 100x speed-up as compared to TFHE (C++) and 2x speed-up as compared to CuFHE (C++/CUDA), which implement the same FHE scheme.Also available an integer arithmetic library in Julia used for prototyping (https://github.com/nucypher/DarkIntegers.jl) and several implementations of FHE schemes (e.g. https://github.com/nucypher/TFHE.jl and https://github.com/nucypher/HEAAN.jl).In addition, I am contributing to the main NuCypher product, a distributed proxy reencryption network (https://github.com/nucypher/nucypher).

I worked in the theoretical division of the Centre for Quantum and Optical Science.I participated in several research projects in the areas of quantum mechanics and numerical computations, including:- modeling of the Universe expansion scenarios with cold gases;- simulation of dynamics of Bose-Einstein condensates;- tests of quantum mechanics with mesoscopic superpositions;- optimized solvers of stochastic differential equations,resulting in 30+ publications. Programming languages used for numerical calculations: Python (prototyping and nontrivial logic), C/OpenCL/CUDA (computationally intensive parts).

This was a transitional period between submitting my PhD thesis and starting a full-time job as a Postdoctoral Fellow. The duties were largely the same as in the later full-time occupation.

I started as a developer in the automated testing department. My main task was to extend an internal automated testing system written in Perl and C. After some time I became the leader of a group of six developers working on this system, with additional responsibilities of triaging incoming bug reports and distributing tasks. I have written several major test packs and significantly improved the architecture and stability of the testing system.

I worked on a project "(n,k)-threshold scheme in CD-ROM driver", aimed at the creation of a CD-ROM data format and a corresponding Windows driver based on a tunable redundancy algorithm.
