As Business Technology Manager I provides technology direction and guidance to business units and markets within PANDORA – this in order to enable the best business processes and capabilities and to ensure our technology solutions meet current and future business needs. In addition to this, I also participate in the development of technology strategies, collaborates with the business on a strategic level, and communicates to the different stakeholders making sure the approved roadmap, programs and projects are executed & followed.The value of the Business Technology (BT) function is realized through the selection and management of business technology initiatives. The objective of the BT function is to make sure PANDORA makes the right technology investments within and across business units and make sure they are implemented as effective and efficient as possible. In addition to this the BT function act as liaison between the business units, markets and Group IT – this in order to make sure the business agenda is sufficient technology supported and the business get the most out of the investment.All business technology demands are orchestrated by the Business Technology function, where the business technology managers makes sure all stakeholders are timely involved and the demand are processed according to the demand management process within Group IT.The BT function facilitates technology innovation and promotes new opportunities to the business that might lead to new business capabilities and improved business processes.
