Litigation and Trial Practice Partner at Alston & Bird LLP (SF and LA) : I am one of the founding partners of Alston & Bird's San Francisco office. I also spend considerable time working out of our firm's Los Angeles office. My practice focuses on class action defense nationally and on California's expansive remedial provisions governing unfair competition, unfair business practices and advertising. I also focus on defending insurers, employers, manufacturers, retailers, and financial services companies in high risk complex litigation, and I handle a wide range of trials and appeals in state courts and in federal courts around the country. I work regularly with my Alston & Bird partners in Atlanta, New York, DC, Raleigh and Charlotte on matters ranging from single plaintiff cases to major class actions.
