For the Fall Quarter of 2020 I was an IA at the University of California San Diego for the Introduction to Python course. I taught groups of ~30 students during mandatory weekly sections where I would go over that weeks core content and answer any questions that students had. I helped write and proctored quizzes, midterms and final exams. I held weekly Coding Labs and provided academic assistance to students that needed further help with their coding assignments. Rather than give students the answers during these coding sessions I made sure to break down otherwise complex technical concepts to make them more understandable for students. I attended weekly Instructional team meetings with the course professor and other IA's to discuss the course and students progression.

-Wrote Firewall configuration automation scripts for quick and easy Firewall setup/management using Yaml and Jinja templating languages-Worked with Linux VM configurations and altering the Kernel IP routing table to route to and from separate Client/Broker networks-Wrote a Python script that helped emulate IoT devices by generating MAC addresses, performing a DHCP transaction with a DHCP server set up on the firewall, Getting each MAC addresses MAC-IP mapping and adding them to a logical interface on the Client side and then performing an MQTT conversation between the Client and Broker-Utilized CI/CD pipeline to continuously build, test and deploy some of my work within Gitlab-Worked heavily with Gitlab to perform bi-weekly SPRINT planning with the DevOps team to continuously push towards getting our software out the door-Familiarized myself and worked with products such as Palo AltoCortex Data Lake, Palo Alto Strata Firewalls and Palo Alto Cortex IoT-Wrote Firewall validation scripts utilizing XML xpaths to obtain values and Yaml to run tests on these values to validate Firewall configuration-Performed presentations on Layer 3 routing, DHCP servers and transactions and on my work this summer-Helped co-write an Ansible Playbook which automated Firewall configuration for Palo Alto Cortex Data Lake connectivity -Was able to assimilate and thrive in an unprecedented fully online work environment

- Shadowed Proof Of Concept calls for companies in need of big data transfer from on-prem to various cloud services.- Wrote a program in JavaScript to automate the transfer of sales logs from Google Sheets to SalesForce/Hubspot.- Learned about a variety of cloud services and how they could be used to securely and efficiently transfer/deal with big data.- Helped compile data and create a presentation for some of the biggest shareholders and investors of the company.

-Wrote Reset Scripts for Simulation machines in Python-Worked on a GNU-GNAT Cross-Compiler that would compile ADA - C code for different architectures such as x86 and PowerPC-Debugged thousands of lines of flight software simulation code primarily written in C and C++-Wrote a Python script to Telnet into machines remotely to control power supplies to different outlets
