Residential split inverter air/air heat pumps and small commercial cooling/freezer “walk in box” split units.• Warranty responsibilities for all above mentioned products, towards factories, installers and end customers.• Technical progress team, training of new technicians/trainees and follow up.• Responsible for taking in new trainees fresh from school, screenings, testing, follow up until skilled worker certified.• Warranty issues communications team, gather information from coworkers so that “failure reports” can be sent to factories as a preventive measure to production failures. This way, factories can alter their production line in order to improve the latter.• Company Info: Import and service on wide range refrigeration products, from the smallest residential split unit to the biggest chiller of an office building. We carry out service on our products and others if needed. We trade Hitachi, Aermec, Midea, Stulz, Stefani, Keyfrost, Fiorini, Carel (humidification) and Bicold. In the later years we have expanded to also distribute electric industrial water heaters from a maker in Sweden called Varmebaronen.

• I was part of the yard team to put M/V Superstar Virgo SuperStar Virgo at sea when new in 1999, continued to serve onboard during maiden voyage to handle warranty issues towards yard and at the same time be in charge of the whole ships HVAC system, maintenance, guest relations. • In 1998 I started on board Star Pisces as 1st Refrigeration Engineer, same responsibilities. Worked here until sent to Meyer Yard, Papenburg, Germany to take out Superstar Virgo as mentioned above.

• Service and commissioning of commercial split units.• Service and commission of large chillers, scroll, reciprocating compressors, screw and turbo compressors. Water and air cooled.

• Installation and service of large supermarket refrigeration plants. Also involved in plants using coolant to circulate the supermarket fridges and freezer instead of direct expansion. This was a project to lessen the amount of refrigerant used and contain it in one technical room, thus reducing the leakage percentage and time to find leakages.

• Worked as assistant ref. engineer from 94 to mid-95, got promoted to Ref. engineer and served on many of the fleets ships, old and new. MV Nordic Prince, MV Song Of Norway, MV Sun Viking, MV Song Of America, MV Sovereign Of The Seas and MV Splendor Of The Seas. Work included service on large screw chillers, smaller screw compressor for provision plants, AHU units with all control systems, ice cube machines and smaller self-contained units throughout the ship. Refrigeration engineer is also in charge of the ships fire prevention system, fire dampers throughout the ships duct systems is tested on a regularly basis, maintenance and repair of these.
