Established the Physics department of six staff members at this all boys boarding school founded by the Ministry of Defence.Set the processes needed for appropriate assessment, moderation, data collection and analysis to monitor and ensure student progress.Managed the team and monitored their performance.Ensured that teaching and learning is optimized for the students by working with and setting regular tasks for the physics team including the teachers, co-teachers and the lab technician to prepare teaching materials, long term planning and schemes of work. Developed the profile of physics within the school through events like science week and organizing physics related trips.Since this is a newly established school, I had to set up all the above from scratch so it was a very busy year and a huge amount of experience.Organized several large scale school trips involving two entire year groups over four days, one trip was to raise awareness regarding the human impact on global warming focusing on the World Cup 2022 theme and the stadiums being built in Doha. The other was to Qatar University for students to experience some university level experiments and be lectured by the faculty on several relevant topics to the military.Involved students in international science and physics competitions such as the International Junior Science Competition in Doha and the Gulf Physics Olympiad at Muscat, where one of my students won a medal in both for Qatar.

Teaching Physics to high achieving pupils of all ages from KS3 to A-level at this impressive selective grammar school in Marlow. A substantial percentage of the kids go on to study at Oxford and Cambridge every year, so I had to be able to really stretch and challenge those kids on a daily basis.I successfully mentored a trainee Physics teacher on the Astra school centred teacher training course to become a qualified Physics teacher.I mentored about 50 sixth form students in research skills and academic writing in order to plan for, conduct and complete their GOLD Crest projects on physics topics which were beyond A-level. I was honoured to have founded the Borlase Islamic Society alongside some of the Muslim students there.It was also my pleasure to found the Dungeons & Dragons Club there where fellow geeks can gather, socialise, kill dungeons and explore dragons!

Teaching Science to year 7 through 11 at this community school. I learnt a lot from the staff at Cressex, the teachers here knew their students really well and the school was heavily involved in the local community of High Wycombe which really strengthened the bond between home and school.

Educating Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) cadets with the Physics and Mathematics required to perform their roles on military aircraft. Leading them towards becoming specialists in Mechanics, the Theory of Flight, Aerodynamics, Electrical Avionics and WeaponsI worked on several projects to write books appropriate to the cadets level and in accordance with the relevant syllabus as well as writing a repository of different exam questions based on what they are taught, which get randomised and selected for final assessment.
