Activtec Solutions is an Australian service provider that performs specialized maintenance and reactive repairs of medical equipment in the aged care and medical industries.During my time with the company, I have been responsible for the development and implementation of a 3 tiered asset management system. During the development phase, my activities revolved mainly around the definition of system requirements, the identification of bugs and issues, and the delegation of tasks to members of the development team. During the implementation phase, my activities included overseeing further development of add-ons and features, the acquisition and installation of hardware, and nationwide training of office staff and technicians. I am happy to say that the implementation was concluded successfully and within the estimated time frame.

During my time at Guidion, I was responsible for the acquisition of specialized mechanical experts across various technical disciplines. Experts were recruited based on specific areas of expertise that partners looked for; often hard to find profiles. My role involved classic recruitment activities such as cold calling, lead pursuit, candidate interviewing, account management, and miscellaneous reporting activities. Furthermore, I was involved with the training of new members to the department. My responsibilities required me to introduce them to the company’s market positioning ambitions, as well as relevant skills and information.

Mediaplanet is a marketing agency that specializes in the creation of content marketing campaigns that are released through multimedia platforms. As a member of the company’s finance department, I was responsible for executing operational finance activities for the Belgian and Dutch offices. My responsibilities for both offices included: full control of the operational payables/ receivables administration, cash flow prognoses, credit tests/ validation and client relations. These responsibilities regularly required me to delegate and execute autonomously.

While writing my bachelor's thesis with Creative Clicks, I have researched the effects of the introduction of a content management system on the company's DCB production process. Through the utilization of a KPI based measuring methodology, an extensive and insightful investigation was executed. The dissertation’s conclusion resulted in a precise depiction of the potential of increased corporate efficiency that comes with the proposed standardization.

As an intern with the project management department of Creative Clicks, my responsibilities revolved around reporting, customer care contact, handling weekly refund requests (global), domain work/ maintenance, market research and product development. Additionally, it was expected of me to foresee unnatural fluctuations in the sales data of the company, providing me with on-the-job training in the field of economic prediction.

Initially hired as a busboy, through time and devotion I was allowed a position behind the bar. Multiple nights a week, I worked as a bartender with this bar in the heart of Amsterdam. The evening shifts were incredibly dynamic and provided me with much insight into nightlife and the overall Amsterdam tourism industry. Over the timespan of my involvement with this company, I have: waited tables, bartended, assisted large groups, orchestrated (business) events, scheduled, aided with budgeting, purchased, consulted and managed.

During this period, I taught beginner level guitar lessons in the comfort of my own living room. On a weekly basis, a customized guitar class was prepared and executed for a half dozen of students, one at a time.

The purpose of my function was to conduct telephone-surveys for companies such as KNVB, T-Mobile and Vodafone. During the six hour sessions, it was my responsibility to continuously contact proposed recipients and attempt to conduct as many interviews with the target audience as possible.
