While Escape Tanzania opened its doors of Operations in August 2009, its planning and conceptual idealizing started in the middle of 2008.The main Objective of the project was to provide Hospitality and Tourism Development training in the various sections of the Industry. The first phase of this project was to source funds and set up a "Direct Hospitality Project" which is essentially a fully Operational Lounge and Restaurant (Damascus); this forms the base of training within the food and beverage section of ETs program.Other sections include:Escape Tanzania' Operator Development, which conducts and facilitates all from feasibility studies of current Tourism and Safari Operators, to devising training manuals, business development plans, setting project timelines and follow through. The objective is to develop a training program that will sufficiently and professionally train and place graduates within the Hospitality & Tourism Industry.The Info Bureau is a project designed to initiate corporate social responsibility in Safari Operator and Hospitality and Tourism stakeholders. The main objective is to focus on building these profiles for these Operators and making sure they understand them. In turn having a database of Corporate Socially Responsible Operators, will enable Escape Tanzania and The Info Bureau to be able to sell a product in line with Social responsibilities.Event Tz is an event management company which focuses on using graduates within and from the hospitality schools to host and conduct events, it has already hosted and managed several events in East Africa and with Combined knowledge from all stakeholders, Events Tz is a proud holder of over 15 years of working experience within the event management sector of our Industry.

Though Tembo Chipboards Ltd was is a Dutch invested Forestry and Timber mill, originally started in the 1900s and then Government owned then further privatized.The Investor of Tembo Lodge undertook to input hospitality and a wooded cabin Lodge built on a Swiss designed cabin. the main purposes of this Lodge was to 1st and foremost initiate and train the local communities in being able to facilitate good hospitality to visitors within the Area.My mandate was to further develop Tembo Lodge and Camp and to devise an effective training program that would initiate and innovate the local communities to play a part in Hospitality within their surrounds.Tembo Lodge & Camp is situated in the Usambara Mountains of Tanzania, as a part of the Eastern Arc Chain. The Usambara Mountains are a mountain range in North-East Tanzania, approximately 70 miles (110 km) long and ranging from 20 to 40 miles (64 km) in width. Mountains in the range rise as high as 8,000 ft (2,440 m). They are part of the Eastern Arc Mountains which stretch from Kenya through Tanzania, and are one of the world’s Biodiversity hotspots. The range is accessible from the towns of Lushoto in the west, and Amani in the east. The Usambaras are commonly split into two sub-ranges, the West Usambara and the East Usambara. The East Usambara is closer to the coast, receives more rainfall, and is significantly smaller than the west.
