-Support and develop new engineers, interns and trainees by providing one on one coaching and creating and delivering training material on Subsea Landing Strings mechanical design, structural analysis and industry standards. -Undertake technical projects as lead engineer assigning, directing and reviewing work of technicians, designers and other junior engineers. -Actively participate on the creation of templates, engineering procedures, design guidelines and standard work instructions to improve Landing Strings efficiency. -Interact with machine shops and other external suppliers to communicate functional requirements, clarify technical inquiries and verifiy quality compliance of products designed to ISO 13628-7, ISO 13628-5, API 6A, API 17G. -Provide technical support to both external clients and internal manufacturing plants-Monitor feedback from operations, investigate equipment failures or difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and recommend remedial actions.

-Designed oil and gas safety valves, pressure vessels and hydraulic control equipment-Modeled 3D assemblies and created their respective manufacturing, general assembly andsystem level drawings using Autocad and PTC CREO.-Reviewed manufacturing drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy (i.e. tolerance stacks, GDT) andappropriate material and welding selection before production release.-Wrote testing and system integration procedures to validate part design requirements, verify part quality post-manufacturing and guarantee proper interfacing and functionality of parts when integrated into subsea well control systems.-Collaborated with supply chain, quality and manufacturing departments to improve manufacturability,quality, reliability and cost of new and existing designs.-Authored design books for various subsea oil and gas products to close new hire knowledge gaps andstandardize part design.-Provided mentorship to Schlumberger engineers and clients, in design of subsea well controlequipment and applicable industry standards. Mentoring included one-on-one training sessions andgroup presentations-Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce engineering design time using the DMAIC.-Reviewed and created dispositions for supplier engineering deviation requests and part quality non-conformances to ensure manufactured parts met Schlumberger quality standards pre-operations.-Utilized root cause analysis (RCA), fishbone diagrams, etc. to investigate engineering, manufacturing and operational failures. Created and implemented procedures to prevent service quality events fromreoccurring in the future.

• Designed and manufactured two mechanical adapters that allowed the installation of sensors in existing hospital beds in VA Hospital for experimental trials. This design saved the project 10,000 dollars and 3 weeks lead-time.• Managed an inter-disciplinary group including mechanical engineers, nurses and students to conduct over 20+ pilot trials in preparation for “Fall Prevention” study in VA Hospital• Programmed research studies Labview Vis to gather analog data from force plates when triggered by video cameras• Used motion capture systems to model biomechanical properties for 100+ patients. Processed all raw motion data for analysis meeting 100% of project deadlines.
