Croatia

Working as the Awareness coordinator for Safer Internet Centre Croatia and Center for Missing and Exploited Children my main responsibility was to increase awareness about the topic of internet safety with the general public, increase the number of partners and promote and present the topic of internet safety to all interested parties such as schools, children, police officers, ministry officials, IT partners, companies etc. Crucial to the work done as the Awareness coordinator is maintaining and developing new international and national partners for the SIC Croatia as well as representing the SIC Croatia and the NGO at various government, business, and international meetings.Working and presenting about online safety to children and youth was one of my main tasks in which I held live webinars, held a great number presentations and workshops working with elementary and high school children, in cooperation with numerous organizations such as schools, social homes for youth, Red Cross, national police prevention units, IT companies. As well as the Awareness coordinator for SIC project I worked as public relations manager working directly with all mainstream, online and printed media companies, as well as giving regular live, televised, radio or written interviews on the broad topics of child safety, especially online safety. My main responsibility as a social and web manager was maintaining, creating and deploying numerous social, web/online campaigns as well as daily maintaining all the social (3) and web profiles (2) of the NGO Center for Missing and Exploited Children.Working as the marketing manager for the NGO I have created, implemented and reported on numerous campaigns to raise awareness of the work done by the NGO and as well as lead the rebranding of all the visuals of the NGO.

Since the relaunch of the local news site www.mojosijek.hr I have worked closely with the chief editor in making the MojOsijek brand on social media and web a powerful force, between some good competitors.I have managed their social and business presence, to obtain new clients and to affectively increase their website hits.
