American gas and power retailer (revenue $370 million).• Initial Public Offering (IPO) of $100 million (TSX: KWH.UN), listed November 2012. • The IPO included a merger of two energy retailers and the formation of a Trust as part of a cross-border transaction with a public/private ownership structure (US GAAP to IFRS conversion). • From inception established the public company reporting process (FS and MD&A) for SEDAR. • Key fillings: Prospectus, Business Acquisition Report, 2012 YE audit and Q1-2013.

Solar deployments (100MW OPA FIT contracts) and retail energy start up. • Supported the formation of a 30MW off-taker agreement. • Implemented MS Navision ERP.• Built a finance team (recruiting and training).• Resolved legacy issues enabling the completion of prior years FS audits (ASPE to IFRS conversion).

Power generation (hydro, wind, thermal and energy retailer). North American gas/power retailer, ethanol producer and water heater rentals (revenue $540 million). • Significant revenue growth ($40 million to $540 million). • Initial Public Offering (IPO) of $143 million (TSX: UEG), listed February 2007. • Convertible debenture issuance of $90 million (TSX listed, October 2007). • Integration of an acquired ethanol plant ($120 million facility), located in SK, into the group. • Supported the integration of a US energy company (AMEX listed), located in California, into the group and oversaw the financial part of the business. This acquisition represented 170,000 customers. • Start-up of the water heater rental business (subsequently sold for $500 million). • Public company reporting for SEDAR (FS and MD&A). • Managed the Canadian and US tax process. • Led a team of 19 (TO 9, CA 8 and SK 2).• Was heavily involved with the transition after the sale of Universal Energy to Just Energy (July 2009).
