I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and research acumen in biomedical science. As a practicing physician, I worked in the field Gynecological Oncology at the SHATOG "Saint Marina" hospital in Pleven, Bulgaria. My clinical experience extended to being a sub-investigator in clinical trials within the realms of oncology and gynecology.My research journey culminated in a doctoral thesis (PhD at Karolinska Insitutet, centered on auto-inflammatory and auto-immune skin diseases. Throughout this pursuit, I harnessed innovative high-tech methods, including 10x Visium spatial transcriptions, and pioneered a novel methodology using the Nanostring GeoMX instrument for spatial proteomic analysis. My expertise has earned me the privilege of speaking at industry and academic events, and I was honored to be elected vice-president of the Stockholm RNA club.I thrive both independently and as part of a collaborative team. My collaborative spirit drives me to assist colleagues and teammates whenever needed. Armed with a blend of critical and analytical thinking, I consistently deliver optimal results within deadlines and possess a wealth of experience in effectively communicating outcomes to diverse stakeholders.
