I work as a vision therapist, treating children and adults suffering from visual problems. I run patients through a series of different visual exercises that tests their balance, hand-eye coordination, and analytical skills. Worked with post-op physical and occupational therapy patients recovering from hip/knee replacements, soft tissue tears, shoulder, and forearm surgeries. Job duties included executing a variety of exercises assigned to them by their physical or occupational therapist. I applied ultrasound treatments to patients with damage in their soft tissue and electro-stimulation therapy for people suffering from nerve and muscle pain.

Highland Park

Helped a family in Highland Park with their teenage son who was diagnosed with ASD and depression. The young man was also diagnosed with a fluency disorder, accompanied by issues with resonance. I helped him with speech as well as social skills. Suffering from frequent bouts of anger, I taught him coping skills and helped him be more aware of triggers.

Worked with a family in Skokie helping their young child with social skills, sensory issues, and education. I got a great opportunity to apply my years of experience, to help their child with impulse control, bathroom skills, and pronunciation.
